Bringing Growth to the Region through Fusion

Bringing Growth to the Region through Fusion

Fusion Conference hosts over 130 attendees from across the region

The 4 Seasons Pavilion in Bowman, North Dakota was filled with individuals ready to take on “The Culture Movement”. Fusion packed four keynote speeches, two panels, and two breakout sessions into a one-day conference focused on developing workforce on September 16. With attendees from across North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana, Fusion serves as a regional event for growth and networking.

The conference revolved around a central theme: Culture. Jim Knight kicked off the morning with his keynote “Culture that Rocks”. Sara Ross then took the stage to present “Emotional Intelligence: The Future of Leadership”. Following the keynote speeches attendees had the opportunity to choose from Knight’s breakout “Building Iconic Teams” or Ross’s breakout “Building Your ‘B.O.U.N.C.E.’: Using Resilience to Thrive through Change”.

With a packed morning, the afternoon lent to some creative learning opportunities as it kicked off with “Business Speed Dating” an interactive game-show style panel that addressed what employees are looking for in the workplace. After the panel Joni Nash and Danna Larson took the stage and delivered “Building a Better Community”. Following this presentation panelists took the stage to talk and answer questions about conflict resolution. The day closed with Paul Long’s keynote “Connecting the Workplace and Life through F.U.N.”

“The Fusion Conference is a ‘must attend’ conference for anyone in your company. The presenters were top notch and the content covered will benefit everyone in your organization from top management to front line employees, simply, there is something for everyone! Thank you for continuing to bring Fusion to North Dakota, it’s one of the best conferences I have attended,” said Rhonda Fitterer, Consolidated Telcom.

“It was refreshing to see so many learn and grow together again. By making just one manager, employee, or leader stronger, we are strengthening our entire region,” said Fusion Team Member Shelby Kinkade.
