The Bowman County Sheriff’s Office has a full time Deputy Sheriff position available. Pre-Employment background check will be conducted prior to hiring. This is a full-time position eligible for benefits including medical insurance, retirement, paid vacation, and sick leave. Equipment and uniforms are provided. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED Certified and P.O.S.T Licensed with at least one-year of experience or Civilian Correction Officer experience.

Summer position available:
The Bowman County Weed Board has a summer opening for a noxious weed spray technician.
Dates for position: May 20 – September 15, 2021 (dependent on weather)
Job description: This is a seasonal position for an individual to assist the Bowman County Weed Officer in spraying noxious weeds along roadsides and on private lands in Bowman County.
Qualified applicants should be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, possess the ability to identify noxious weeds, and have some experience operating ATVs and Utility vehicles.
The selected candidate will need to obtain a commercial pesticide applicator certification, which can be done after starting employment. Pre-employment checks include criminal and motor vehicle record.
