This dynamic position plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving our fairgrounds while actively seeking and coordinating a diverse range of events, ensuring that the venue remains a hub of community activity.

Settled in the heart of our rural community, our Fairgrounds serves as the gathering place for a wide range of events, from rodeos and barrel racings to weddings, banquets, and community conferences. We’re searching for an exceptional individual who is not only passionate about managing and maintaining our fairgrounds but also eager to bring exciting new events to our community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Facility Management: Keep our facilities in top condition, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for use.
  • Event Set-up and Tear Down: Work with event organizers to create the perfect atmosphere, from setup to teardown.
  • Event Coordination and Planning: Collaborate with event organizers, offering support, and ensuring a seamless event experience.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Seek out new event opportunities and help market our fairgrounds as the go-to venue for various activities.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets and expenses, seeking cost-effective solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event coordination or venue management.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair work is a plus.
  • Marketing and business development experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the local community is preferred.

 

Compensation and Earning Potential: $40-$60k per year DOE, Benefits, and Bonus Pay

 

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position offers a performance-based bonus structure for successfully attracting and coordinating events. About the Role

This pivotal position extends beyond routine office tasks. As a community champion, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer service, community relations, and member engagement. You will be the initial point of contact for those walking through our doors or calling, setting the tone for a positive and welcoming atmosphere, and be knowledgeable about upcoming events. Additionally, you will actively contribute to community integration by assisting newcomers, providing relocation support, and fostering strong member relations.

Description

As Marketing Manager, you will be integral in managing and supporting all business development and marketing functions needed to win work. This will include brand management, business development support, website and social media management, managing project photography, and developing and producing winning proposals and interview materials.   Primary Office Responsibilities

  • Maintain and elevate graphic standards for all branding and marketing/promotional activities.

Requirements
