ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES:

YOUTH PROGRAMS

4TH, 5TH, 6TH GRADE PROGRAMS -
*Girls Volleyball Practice begins 2nd week of March & runs through April. Need gym shoes & knee pads
*Tackle Football Practice begins 1st week of August & runs through September. Need mouth guard, rubber cleats, and gloves. Helmet, shoulder pads, padded pants, practice & game jersey provided with equipment deposit
*Girls Basketball Practice begins 2rd week of August & runs through September
*Boys Basketball Practice begins 1st week of October & runs through mid-November
BASEBALL & SOFTBALL PROGRAMS - Age as of May 1st of the current year
*T-Ball - Ages 5-6 Practice begins 2nd week of June & runs for 4 weeks. Need a glove
*Midget Baseball - Ages 7-9 Practice begins 1st week of June & runs through mid-July. Need a glove
*Little League Baseball - Ages 10-12 Practice begins last week of May & runs through mid-July. Need a glove
*Girls Softball - Ages 7-16 Practice begins 1st week of June & runs through mid-July. Need a glove
*Babe Ruth Baseball - Ages 13-15 Practice begins last week of May & runs through end of July. Need a glove
*Legion Baseball - Ages 16-19 Practice begins mid-May & runs through end of July. Need a glove & bat
FUN AND FITNESS WITH HEIDI - Ages 3-10 Dates TBD. Emphasis on flexibility, coordination, and strength through tumbling and physical activities

*PROGRAM QUALIFIES FOR A 50% DISCOUNT ON FEES WITH A CURRENT ANNUAL FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

Refund Policy:  If a program is canceled prior to start date, a full refund will be issued in the form of a check.  No refunds will be given once a program has started.

YOUTH PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS:

Youth Recreation Programs require volunteers to help with many different activities. The following volunteer positions are available:
>> Team Moms
>> After School Program Board of Directors
>> Activity Leaders, snack providers, homework tutors, cleanup

HELP WANTED: 

Coaches, Officials for basketball, football, and volleyball are paid positions.  If you have experience, an interest in helping develop the youth of our community or would like to be involved, contact Bowman Parks and Recreation.

ADULT PROGRAMS

Rosters & Fees due at Captain's Meeting. Late Entries shall pay an additional $100 per team
Men's Basketball Captain's Meeting the 1st Wednesday in January. Play begins the next week & runs 9-weeks
Women's Volleyball Captain's Meeting the 1st Wednesday in January. Play begins the next week & runs 9-weeks
Co-Ed Pickleball League Player Meeting the 1st Wednesday in January. Play begins the next week and runs 9-weeks
Co-Ed Softball Captain's Meeting the 3rd Wednesday in May. Play begins the 1st week of June & runs 9-weeks
Co-Ed Volleyball Captain's Meeting the 1st Wednesday in September. Play begins the next week & runs 9-weeks
Co-Ed Kickball Tourney Team rosters and fees due the Monday after Christmas. Tourney will be the week between Christmas and New Years during the day

REGISTRATION POLICY:

Registration is available online or go to the Edge Activity Complex and register in person.
Fees are due at the time of registration (no spots will be held without payment). Cash, Check, and Credit Cards (additional fees apply) are accepted.

SPECIAL EVENTS

MARGE'S FROSTY FROLIC - 2nd Saturday in December 10am - 3pm Local arts and craft fair at the Rouzie Rec Center.
Special events such as movies in the park, crafts, and holiday events will be advertised throughout the year on our Facebook account, KPOK Radio, & emails
