11 Feb Bowman County Development Corporation Highlights Community Impact at Annual Meeting
BOWMAN, N.D. (February 2026) – Bowman County Development Corporation (BCDC) hosted its Annual Meeting on February 4, 2026, at the Bowman Sweetwater Golf Course. The event welcomed community members, local businesses, and regional partners to celebrate recent successes and highlight ongoing projects supporting growth and development across Bowman County.
Attendees enjoyed a complimentary lunch followed by a brief business meeting, during which board election results were announced. Incumbent board members Kevin Bucholz and Scotty Hardy were reelected to serve additional three-year terms on the BCDC Board of Directors.
A featured highlight of the meeting was a video presentation showcasing BCDC’s work throughout 2025. Projects highlighted included the Rotary Park expansion, the Play It Forward Fund, the newly launched Ware Fair program, and a range of business and community development initiatives. The video also included interviews with local business owners, managers, and community members who shared how BCDC programs and partnerships supported their efforts over the past year. In addition, the presentation emphasized BCDC’s collaborative contracts with organizations such as the Roosevelt Custer Regional Council, Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce, and the North Dakota Small Business Development Centers.
“Our annual meeting is an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made and, more importantly, to recognize the partnerships and people that make this work possible,” said BCDC Executive Director Teran Doerr. “The projects highlighted represent our continued commitment to strengthening local businesses, enhancing quality of life, and investing in long-term opportunities for Bowman County.”
Doerr also addressed audience questions during the meeting, providing insight into current and upcoming projects, BCDC’s operations, and the organization’s unique contractual partnerships.
Attendees also received BCDC’s 2025 Annual Report, which is available for pickup at the BCDC office.
