Agriculture Celebrated at Annual Ag Banquet

Bowman, ND – October 30, 2025

The community came together on October 29 at the 4 Seasons Pavilion in Bowman, ND, to celebrate the vital role of agriculture in Bowman, Slope, and Harding Counties during the annual Ag Appreciation Banquet.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of David and Sue Juntunen of Slope County as the 2025 Farmer/Rancher of the Year. The Juntunens were honored for their dedication, hard work, and lasting contributions to local agriculture and community.

Honoring a Farmer/Rancher of the Year has been a long-standing tradition since 1989. Each year, the recipient is nominated by community members and selected by the Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee.

The evening featured a social hour, a complimentary meal prepared and served by the Chamber Ag Committee, the Farmer/Rancher of the Year presentation, and entertainment by Bob Farmer, who provided plenty of laughs.
