Bowman County businesses sold 201 local gift cards totaling $6,030 during Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Gift Card Flash Sale on December 3. This sale happens annually to encourage local shopping during the holiday season. It is the perfect way to keep dollars local while supporting small businesses.

For one day, individuals were able to go online and purchase $30 gift cards for only $20. The $10 difference per card was covered by Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce and Bowman Tax & Tourism.

“The Gift Card Flash Sale is a hit every year and we are happy to be a part of assisting in local shopping. With some difficulties on our current website platform, we are looking into a new website for next year as well as increasing the number of gift cards per business. We can’t wait to roll out an enhanced sale next year. Thank you to all our businesses and purchasers for participating in the sale!” said Megan Moderow, Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce

Gift Cards were available from the following businesses: Auroma Candle, Bowman Theater, Bronson’s Marketplace & Liquor, Classic Beauty Salon, EB Custom Creations, Flower Nook, Frontier Travel Center, Grazers, Lasting Visions, Legendary Massage Therapy, Meowsers Cat Rescue, Newby’s Ace Hardware, Next Door Pizza, P.S. Custom Embroidery, Pioneer Trails Regional Museum, ProPoint Cooperative, Shear Designs, South Main Lanes, The 8512, The Edge Activity Complex, and Windy’s
