18 Jul Wild, Wild West Parade Wins Over the Crowd
Main Street Bowman turned into the Wild West on Sunday, July 13, as families lined the streets for the annual Bowman County Fair Parade. With this year’s “Wild, Wild West” theme, parade-goers were treated to a lively and creative lineup of floats and they were not disappointed!
Leading the charge were local first responders, including fire departments from Bowman, Scranton, and Rhame, along with Bowman Ambulance, the Bowman County Sheriff’s Office, and City of Bowman Police. Following them were more than 30 spirited entries, including The American Legion, Bowman Lions Club, local churches, businesses, 4-H groups, and equestrian riders.
This year’s Parade Marshal and 2025 Friend of the Fair, Wayne Mrnak, had the tough but entertaining job of judging the floats. First place went to the Stampeding Lads and Lassies 4-H Club for their wild and wonderful float. Classic Beauty Salon styled their way into second place, and the Bowman Lions Club proudly took home third. Congratulations to all on your creativity and parade spirit!
The Bowman County Fair Parade is proudly hosted by Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce. A big thank-you goes out to all the organizations, businesses, and individuals who helped make this event such a fun, festive, and unforgettable part of fair week!
