13 Nov Funds Still Available for Bowman Housing Initiative!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bowman County Development Corporation (BCDC), in partnership with the Bowman County Housing Authority, is excited to announce that funding is still available through the Rural Workforce Housing Grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce.
This grant enables the Bowman County Housing Authority to acquire dilapidated properties and prepare the lots for new homes. These lots will then be made available to the public for purchase at a nominal fee. Qualified buyers must commit to building a new home on the lot within two years.
Currently, six properties are participating in this project, and we are actively seeking additional properties to meet our goal of providing 10-12 additional lots for new homes within the city of Bowman. This initiative is designed to increase housing availability, stabilize the local housing market, and foster economic growth by attracting and retaining the workforce, promoting population growth, and boosting property values.
If you think your property may qualify for this program, contact Sarah Nagel at Bowman County Development Corporation by emailing sarah@bowmannd.com or calling 701-523-5880.
