Festival of Lights in Bowman City Park

Festival of Lights in Bowman City Park

BOWMAN, N.D. (DECEMBER 5, 2024) – Several hundred people gathered at Bowman City Park on December 4 to see the park light for the 7th Annual Festival of Lights. With only the glow of the luminaries the crowd started to form. Then, at the count of 3 – 2 – 1, the park lit with twinkling glory.

Dollars for Scholars soup feed was a huge hit once again. People enjoyed hot chocolate, apple cider, popcorn, and a fire. New this year were hayrides offered by Yesterdays Farmers.

Everything was so wonderfully decorated. Throughout the evening, people voted for their favorite decorated tree or shelter. This year, the People’s Choice Award Winner is ABC Daycare. They will receive a special $250 prize.

The park will continue to light through the new year. Make sure to take in the magic of the season at Bowman City Park.
