Teran efficiently manages the office, oversees personnel and contracts, and leads key projects, all while representing Bowman County on both the state and local boards. Her leadership and vision continue to shape the region’s ongoing success and development.

Brooklyn Engelhart

Brooklyn is the Director of Tourism and Creative and has been with the office since 2018. With a degree in graphic design and public relations, she infuses creativity and innovation into every project at Bowman County Development Corporation. She is responsible for crafting engaging content, design, and branding for both print and digital marketing, serving BCDC and its partners. In addition to her marketing expertise, Brooklyn plays a key role in boosting Bowman County’s tourism industry and enhancing community development through signature events like the Festival of Lights.

Debbie has a degree in accounting, with over 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting consulting, and treasury operations for a wide range of organizations. For Debbie, her role is not just a job—it’s a calling. Her enthusiasm for helping organizations achieve financial success and stability shines through in every project she takes on.

Kate is the Executive Coordinator and has been with the team since 2022. She plays a crucial role in managing operations and coordinating programs. Known for her leadership and attention to detail, Kate helps organize large events, such as State of Region 8, BCDC’s Annual Meeting, and Fusion, as well as manages several key initiatives, including workforce programs, Play It Forward, and childcare programs. She is also the main point of contact for many business relationships and boards, ensuring smooth communication and alignment. Her dedication and efficiency make her an invaluable resource to both the team and the community.

Ardis has been with the team as the Office Assistant since 2024, playing a key role in building community connections. She engages with local businesses, supports newcomers, and provides relocation resources. Ardis also helps with Chamber member relations, event coordination, and office operations. Known for her friendliness, reliability, and proactive approach, she ensures that residents and businesses feel supported and valued, making her an essential part of the team and the community.

Megan is the Event and Community Relations Assistant and has been with the office since 2024. With a passion for building strong community connections and creating impactful events, she plays a key role in organizing and executing community engagement initiatives. She plays a big part in continuing to build and create relationships with businesses. She plays a key role for the Chamber, being one of the main points of contact and works closely with the board to put on key events for Bowman County.

She provides supports local businesses with incentives, workforce programs, and the Business Retention & Expansion Program. She organizes educational classes, leads initiatives like Fusion and housing projects, and helps revitalize local properties.
