Housing Authority Meeting Minutes – March 12, 2025
Bowman County Development Corporation – 8:00 AM Mainspace

Present: Teran Doerr, Barbara Weiss, John Pretzer, Margie Russ, Nathan Miller, Kate Buer, Dan Peterson via Zoom

Absent:

Doerr called the meeting to order 8:01am MST.

AGENDA: Agenda was reviewed. Motion to approve the agenda was made by Pretzer, seconded by Weiss. AIF, MC.

MINUTES: Minutes from the 12.11.24 and 03.04.25 board meetings were reviewed. Miller motioned to approve the minutes. Second from Weiss. AIF, MC.

FINANCIALS: Doerr reviewed financials. Motion to approve the financials made by Miller, seconded by Weiss. AIF, MC.

BUSINESS:

1. JESCO Apartments Bid Opening: Doerr opened sealed bids from R&L Contracting and Springer Construction for windows, siding, and water damage repair on the JESCO Apartments. Based on the bid comparisons, R&L Contracting provided the lowest bids for all project components. Motion that R&L Contracting is assumed bidder pending county commission approval made by Miller, second by Weiss. AIF, MC.

2. Dilapidated Housing Project: Doerr gave update on further research that has been conducted. Doerr recommends that we move forward with Greenway Environmental as the lowest qualified bidder for demolition of the properties. Motion to accept bid from Greenway Environmental made by Miller, seconded by Pretzer. AIF, MC.

Adjourn: With no further business, Weiss motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:43am MST, second from Pretzer. AIF, MC.
