Bowman City Auditors Peggy Allen and Stacy McGee
The City of Bowman reorganized the structure of the auditor office to better serve the public. There were two positions created a Financial City Auditor and a Utility Auditor. Peggy Allen was appointed to the City Financial Auditor position and Stacy McGee was appointed to the Utility Auditor position.
The City Financial Auditor is responsible for all financial transactions of the city, such as recording all revenue and expenditure activity of the city. This position also does the reconciliation and monthly financial reports for the commissioners. Other duties include preparing agenda’s and scheduling all regular and special meetings, as well as recording the minutes of the commissions decision’s and keeps the commission up to date on city issues.
The City Utility Auditor is responsible for the billing of all city services. This includes keeping customer account information current, taking care of delinquent accounts, and billing out utility services. Account updates or Questions regarding the garbage, water, sewer, landfill or bulk water billing will be directed to the Utility Auditor.
The Auditor office handles raffle permits, transient merchant licenses, annual liquor licenses and bookings of the public meeting room. Publishing of all notices, ordinances and legal notices will be posted thru the office. The auditors will have knowledge of you city, its organizations, services and business. Public questions, concerns or complaints will be handled by the auditor’s office and directed to the proper department.
