Green Thumb Plant Sale & Auction @ Bowman Regional Public Library

Ready… Set… Grow! The 3rd Annual Green Thumb Plant Sale and Silent Auction is sprouting up on Tuesday, May 20th! The extravaganza kicks off at 11:30 AM, with all proceeds going to nurturing activites in the Library’s backyard oasis.

We’re on a quest for plant and plant-related treasures for this fundraising fiesta. Is your houseplant army getting out of hand? Got a garden bursting with extra seedlings or garden goodies to share? We love it all!

Drop off your items and plants at the Bowman Regional Public Library by Monday, May 19th. Need more dirt on the event? Pop by the Library or check out our website at www.bowmanlibrary.com/events for more info.

Safe Sitter Classes @ Bowman Ambulance Garage

Safe Sitter classes open to students in grades 6-8th. Learn safety skills to handle emergencies, treat illnesses and injuries and basic childcare. Students will also learn how to screen jobs, set a wage, and work with employers!

Volunteer at White Butte with MDHTA and the BCC Feild Crew @ White Butte

To prevent erosion on White Butte, the Badlands Conservation Corps will be working with the Maah Daah Hey Trail Association to place weathered posts and rocks.

Volunteers are welcome to join us! The work begins at 9 a.m. Mountain Time at White Butte on Thursday, May 29th.

What to bring:
– Lunch and snacks
– Water
– Work gloves
– Sturdy shoes or boots
– Sun protection
– Any other personal protective equipment

Note that this is a work day and not an outing, although you’re of course welcome to hike on your own!
