Barrel Horse Workshop- Outside the Turn @ Bowman All Season Arena

Come to Bowman, ND, Friday, October 24th, for a fun-filled 5 hour Pop-up-Clinic with Jenn Zeller. This is the FRIDAY before the Headless Horseman Run (October 25-26). Clinic is from 9-2 – Lunch will be provided. This clinic will be a blast. Bring your young horse!
Jenn has 30 years experience starting colts and training barrel horses. She was a 2020 presenter (colt starting) at Art of the Cowgirl. Her horses are quiet and well-broke. She’s ridden for the public for 20 years, starting colts and handling many problem horses through the years. Was a 2021/2023 BBR Xtra Tour Champion, and has multiple 2D Derby and 2D Slot race wins. Has been featured 2x each in BHW, and in Western Horseman.

Calling all puzzle enthusiasts! Get ready to piece together the fun at the Bowman Regional Public Library! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 26th! Rally your crew of up to 4 puzzlers and race against the clock to conquer a 500-piece jigsaw masterpiece!
To join the puzzle party, give the BRP Library a ring at 701-523-3797 or shoot us a message with your team’s names (or if you’re flying solo and need a squad). Hurry, though—space is limited to 10 teams, so don’t snooze on this!
If you must bow out, let us know so we can invite some eager beavers from the waiting list. Each team gets 2 hours to complete the puzzle, and the first to finish claims the crown! Puzzling kicks off at 2 PM sharp so be prepared to come a little early. The winning team will snag a prize and, of course, eternal bragging rights!
Join us for a day of puzzling, laughter, and community fun—all for free!

Decorate your potato for Halloween. We we display the creations and vote on the potato with the best Halloween Costume!

Trick out your Tater at the Library! We’re holding a costume contest for Potatoes! Come to the Library on Tuesday, October 28th. Make a costume for your potato and we’ll vote on the winners. We’ll supply everything you need to create a costume for your spud (including the potato!).
All ages are welcome to participate. No registration required. All costumes must be handmade but you may include some purchased or pre-made elements. No obscene, graphic, or offensive costumes allowed.
