Rock the Block is Back and Bigger than Ever!
This year we teamed up with Dakota Territory’s Car Show for a combo event that’s bigger than ever. That means that all of the action is taking place on Saturday instead of Thursday. This free family event still includes bouncy houses, live music, kid games, cornhole, vendors, and food with collector cars thrown into the mix, all on Main Street. We are excited for this new combo event!
Schedule of Events
- 10:00 am – Car Show Opens
- 1:30 pm – Car Live Auction
- 4:00 pm – Rock the Block Begins: Bouncy houses, kids games, food and vendors
- 5:30 pm – Cornhole Tournament
- 6:00 pm – Live Band: Faded Blue
- 8:00 pm – Live Band: Sixtiesmania
Regular meetings of the Bowman County Commissioners begin at 9:00 a.m. in the commissioner room located on the lower level of the courthouse or Conference call in: 523-3130 for instructions.

STUDENTS MUST BE 12 BY THE END OF THIS CALENDAR YEAR TO ENROLL IN A HOME STUDY COURSE*** – HUNTER EDUCATION WILL MEET AT THE BOWMAN CONVENTION CENTER IN THE DAKOTA ROOM ON AUGUST 8TH & AUGUST 22ND BOTH FROM 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. MOUNTAIN TIME. STUDENTS WILL MEET ON THE FIRST DAY AND THEN WILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE PORTION (HTTPS://WWW.HUNTER-ED.COM/NORTHDAKOTA/). ALL STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO PASS THE ONLINE COURSE, PAY THE FEE, AND PRINT THEIR CERTIFICATE. STUDENTS WILL MEET FOR THE SECOND CLASS TO TAKE THE ND STATE WRITTEN AND PRACTICAL EXAM. MUST ATTEND BOTH CLASSES TO PASS. IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND, YOU MAY LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENROLL FOR A YEAR. *STUDENTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18, PLEASE HAVE YOUR GUARDIAN COME IN THE FIRST CLASS TO SIGN THE STUDENT REGISTRATION CARD.
