13 Feb Bowman County Development Corporation Showcases Key Community Projects at Annual Meeting
BOWMAN, N.D. (February 6, 2025) – Bowman County Development Corporation (BCDC) hosted its Annual Meeting on February 5, 2025, at Bowman Sweetwater Golf Course, bringing together community members, local businesses, and regional stakeholders to celebrate and highlight key projects that continue to drive growth and development in Bowman County.
The meeting featured a complimentary lunch followed by a short business meeting which included the announcement of board election results, with incumbents Josh Stuchl, Duane Bowman, and Alicia Hess reelected to serve another three-year term on the BCDC Board of Directors.
A highlight of the event was a video presentation showcasing BCDC’s impactful initiatives for 2024, including the restaurant renovation, Play It Forward Fund, the dilapidated housing initiative, community development efforts, and more. The video also featured interviews with local business owners Jordyn Germann, owner of Jinks Salon and Studio, and Bondon Scott, owner of Two Tired Garage, who discussed how BCDC supported their businesses in 2024. Additionally, the video highlighted BCDC’s collaborative contracts with organizations like Roosevelt Custer Regional Council, Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce, and ND Small Business Development Centers.
BCDC Executive Director, Teran Doerr, addressed questions from the audience, providing insights on key projects, the organization’s budget, and the unique contracts the office holds.
Attendees were also introduced to BCDC’s 2024 Annual Report, which is available for pickup at BCDC’s office.
