Southwest Healthcare Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare in southwest North Dakota and northwest South Dakota.
Our organization is comprised of six facilities which include a 23-bed critical access hospital, a 40 bed long-term care facility, a rural health clinic, visiting nurse services, emergency ambulance service, physical and occupational therapy, 14 independent senior apartments and a new 12 unit assisted living facility.
Southwest Healthcare Service’s hospital is a 23-bed critical access hospital. The facility has achieved Level IV Trauma designation with physician staffed emergency services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our hospital provides skilled care, which include the following areas:

Southwest Medical Clinic in Bowman provides the community with local access to a broad range of healthcare services.
Our professional healthcare practitioners consist of a three family practice physicians, a family nurse practitioner and a physican’s assistant. In addition, visiting specialists have monthly courtesy medical privileges and provide services in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Cardiology.
