70th Year of the North Dakota High School Rodeo Finals
(BOWMAN, ND) – Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 70th North Dakota High School Rodeo Finals (NDHSRF) in Bowman June 7-11, 2023. This event has been hosted in Bowman for over 30 years. Students from across the state work throughout their season to qualify for the state finals in hopes to qualify for the national competition. The week starts off with Rifle and Trap Shoot, Cutting Performances, and Reining Performances, and over the course of the weekend there are the main five rodeo performances.
The grandstands fill at the excitement of the top high school cowboys and cowgirls. The rodeo weekend is complete with concessions, vendors, and commemorative clothing. This event would not be possible in Bowman without the support of local businesses. Performance sponsors include Bowman Sales and Service, Professional Autobody, Dakota Western Bank, Dakota Community Bank & Trust, West Plains, Inc., Frontier Travel Center, and Dakota West Credit Union.
