Since October of 2017, Urban Obsession has been providing contemporary clothing for the fashionable woman. With the latest trends, chic basics, and accessories you are sure to find something you love. In 2021, the business expanded with an online store. Through all of this they have done an astounding job with marketing and illustrating their style through pictures. Their involvement with the Chamber and community events is extensive with fun, great promotions.
“I’ve always had a great experience in Urban. They add a fun flair and style to Main Street. They always do a good job when participating in Chamber events, especially Ladies Night Out. They are good supporters of the Chamber and our community. Great customer service and a fun atmosphere,” said Chamber board member Beth Criswell.
If there’s one thing we are sure of it’s that Urban Obsession has gone above and beyond business as usual. Join us in celebrating them as the 2022 Business of the Year!

The Volunteer of the Year is someone who leads the way, serving her community by volunteering her time and talents to make Chamber sponsored events possible, as well as giving to other organizations and causes. It is because of this that we are honored to recognize Edna Paulson as the 2022 Volunteer of the Year.
Edna’s gentle heart and service-minded attitude are contagious. She is a kind, giving soul that is and has been involved in several community events and programs over the years. The Giving Tree, which Edna volunteers much of her time, is active year-round. Most locals know The Giving Tree to be active only around Christmas time, but Edna knows there is a need in the community year-round and actively collects and disperses items to those that need them. For her, The Giving Tree is an important, year-round commitment and a service she works hard to grow.
Another service area of Edna’s is Bowman Regional Public Library where she has been a member of the board for several years and an active component of their fundraisers. She assists by baking, organizing, and helping run many of the library’s fundraisers.
She is also active with Down-Home Country Christmas and Bowman Lutheran Church.
Edna always puts others first and spends countless hours making sure everyone has what they need. She is an amazing asset to our community! When you see Enda, join us in celebrating her.
The Volunteer of the Year is an award from Bowman Area Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Choice Awards.
