Grab your friends, grab your family, and prepare for rodeo fun! The top high school cowboys and cowgirls from across the state will compete at the North Dakota High School Rodeo Finals in Bowman, June 11–15, 2025. Hosted at the Bowman County Fairgrounds, this action-packed event showcases the talent and grit of student athletes who have worked hard all year to earn their spot at the finals. The agility these athletes, and their animals, display is a highlight of the season and not to be missed.
The rodeo weekend features five main event performances, reining cow horse, cutting a queen pageant, vendors, entertainment, and more. Performances are scheduled for Friday at 10 AM and 6 PM, Saturday at 10 AM and 6 PM, and Sunday at 12 PM. Please note: rough stock events will only be featured during the evening performances and again in the Short Go on Sunday.
Contestants will compete in two preliminary rounds on Friday and Saturday in hopes of qualifying for Sunday’s Short Go Finals. The top four competitors in each event will earn a coveted spot at the National High School Rodeo Finals in July. Throughout the weekend, you’ll find concessions to satisfy your cravings and local vendors to explore between events.
