The Civil Engineer will perform Construction Administration services on various civil-related construction projects and will lead an engineering team in completing inspection, surveying, and materials testing operations.

 

The Engineer will complete detailed and accurate construction records and assemble pay applications and project change orders. The Engineer will study and assess drawings, plans, specifications, and other documents relating to construction projects. Collaboration and interaction with Contractors and Clients will be necessary. The ability to perform site visits and fieldwork will be critical to this role to ensure adherence to contract requirements.

 

The Engineer is expected to maintain a high level of professional engineering service to the Company’s clients in an accurate and timely manner. Collaboration with other design departments will be required during the non-construction season and would involve the preparation of technical reports, plans, specifications, and other preliminary design and drafting services. Other tasks may be assigned by the Area Manager.

 

  • Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer License within 6 months (Preferred)
  • Experience in MicroStation
  • Experience with Civil 3D
  • Experience with Construction Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
