PIONEER TRAILS REGIONAL MUSEUM
The museum is a regional research and repository for history from within 100 miles of Bowman, ND. We have departments active in Archaeological, Genealogical and Paleontological research as well as preservation collections relating to local history.
The museum is one of the major cultural centers in Bowman and the surrounding area. We routinely showcase local artistic talents, traveling displays and sponsor guest speakers on many topics. 150th Anniversary of the James L Fisk Wagon Train, Fort Dilts and the Indian Engagements of 1864
Please join Pioneer Trails Regional Museum and the City of Bowman in commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the James L. Fisk Wagon Train, Fort Dilts and the Indian Engagements of 1864. On Saturday, September 6th, several presenters will speak at the Four Seasons Pavilion starting at 9:00 am MDT. On Sunday, September 7th, reserve a spot on the bus tours that follow the Fisk Wagon Train route from the initial attack to the Fort Dilts site.
