ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES:

Current Annual Family Pass Members shall receive a 50% discount on Youth Program Fees for all Rouzie Rec Center Programs including: Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cheer, Baseball, and Softball.

FALL PROGRAMS 2016:

Tackle Football         

  • Boys Grades 4-6.  Registration Ends mid-August.
  • Emphasis on Fundamentals, fun and maximum participation with some games.  4th graders may not play in games; depends on numbers.
  • *Fees:  $65 plus $150 uniform deposit.  
  • Equipment Checkout is August 8 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.  6th grade first at 2:00, 5th grade at 2:30, and 4th grade at 3:00.  
  • Practice starts August 8 and season ends early October.

Cheer       

  • Boys and Girls Grades 4—6.  
  • Emphasis on learning cheers and routines and will cheer at Football and Boys basketball home games.  May travel.
  • Registration Ends mid-August for Football or beginning of October for Boys Basketball
  • *Fees:  $25 per sport plus cost of shoes and a $50 uniform deposit.
  • Practice starts end of August for Football and October for Boys Basketball.  

Girls Basketball        

  • Girls Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends August 15.
  • Emphasis on Fundamentals, fun and maximum participation with some games.
  • *Fees:  $25
  • Practice starts August 15 and runs thru mid-October

Boys Basketball        

  • Boys Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends October 10
  • Emphasis on Fundamentals, fun and maximum participation with some games.
  • *Fees:  $25
  • Practice starts October 10 and runs thru mid-December

Fun and Fitness with Heidi  -  F4- Ages 3 - 8:   

  • A 45 minute Intro to Tumbling class designed to enhance flexibility, coordination, and strength thru intense stretching, strength training, and a variety of physical activities.  Also included will be an encouraging weekly incentive program emphasizing the importance of overall body strength, coordination, balance, and injury prevention.  
  • Fees:  $40 per 1x week or $75 per 2x week

Session Dates:

  • November - Wednesdays - October 26, November 2, 9, 16
  • December - Wednesdays - November 30, Dec 7, 14, 21

SPRING PROGRAMS 2017:

Girls Volleyball

  • Girls Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends February 13
  • Emphasis on Fundamentals, fun and maximum participation with some games.
  • Fees:  $15
  • Practice starts week of March 2 and runs thru mid-April

Tumbling

  • Boys and Girls Ages 6—10.  Registration Ends Dec. 17
  • Fees:  $75 for 6 sessions
  • Starts on January 4 and runs 6 weeks.

*Program qualified for a 50% discount on fees with a current Annual Family Membership to the Rouzie Rec Center.

Refund Policy:  If a program is canceled, a full refund will be issued in the form of a check.  No refunds will be given once a program has started.


ADULT PROGRAMS FALL 2016 AND WINTER 2017

Rosters and Fees Due at Captain’s Meeting.  Late Entries shall pay an additional $100 per team effective 2/1/2015.  

Coed Volleyball—Wed. League

  • Adult Coed Volleyball is played on Wednesday Evenings.  
  • Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  September 7 @ 5:00 p.m. 
  • Play begins September and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
  • Fees:  $275 per team

Women’s Volleyball—

Wed. League - Played on Wednesday Evenings.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions.  

  • Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  December 21st - 5:00 p.m.
  • Play begins January 4 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
  • Fees:  $275 per team

Thu. League - Played on Thursday Evenings.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions.  

  • Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  December 21st - 5:00 p.m.
  • Play begins January 5 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
  • Fees:  $275 per team

Men’s Basketball - Wed. League

Men’s Volleyball is played on Wednesday Evenings.  Traditionally this is the competitive league. Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions. 

  • Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  December 21 - 5:30 p.m.  
  • Play begins January 4 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
  • Fees:  $400 per team

SUMMER PROGRAMS 2016:

Camp Adventure*

  • Boys and Girls going into Grades 3 - 6
  • Registration:  At Family Fun Fair in April
  • It’s a 4-day, 10-week camp filled with activities & adventure
  • Emphasis on fun and indirect educational benefits.
  • *Fee:  $30 per person (includes t-shirt) plus daily activity fees

Fun and Fitness with Heidi:  F4 & Cardio & Games

  • C&G –  Ages 9-12 - Wed in May; Wed in June
    • *Fee:  $5/day or $20 4/week session @ Rec
  • F4 – Ages 3-8 – Tues and/or Thu in June – 4 week session  @ 4 Seasons
    • *Fee:  $40 1x per week or $75 2x per week

 Girls Softball*

  • Ages 12 & Under and 18 & Under
  • Registration opens in April
  • Practice begins end of May
  • Will travel on bus to games 
  • *Fee:  $40 per player

 Babe Ruth Baseball*

  • Ages 13-15
  • Registration opens in April
  • Practice begins end of May
  • Emphasis on skill building and competition.  Need glove.
  • Will travel on bus to games 
  • *Fee:  $40 per player

 Legion Baseball*

  • Ages 16-18
  • Must register by May 1.
  • If not enough to make a team, opportunities to play in Hettinger. 

T-Ball*

  • Boys and Girls ages 5-6
  • Register April 21 - 30
  • Practice begins week of June 6
  • Emphasis on skill development.  Need glove. 
  • *Fee:  $30 per player (includes t-shirt)

 Midget Baseball*

  • Boys and Girls ages 7-9
  • Register April 21 - 30
  • Practice begins week of June 6
  • Emphasis on skill development, coach or machine pitch.  Need glove. 
  • Will travel on bus to games 
  • *Fee:  $30 per player (includes t-shirt)

 Little League Baseball*

  • Boys and Girls ages 10-12
  • Register April 21 – 30
  • Practice begins week of May 31
  • Emphasis on skill development and position learning.  Need glove.
  • Will travel on bus to games 
  • *Fee:  $40 per player

 Missoula Children’s Theatre

  • Registrations open through June 13 for Grades 1-12
  • Tryouts: June 13    Rehearsals: June 13 – June 17
  • Performances: June 17 at  7:00 p.m.
  • and June 18 at 3:00 p.m.
  • *Fees:  $30 per person

ADULT COED SOFTBALL: 

  • Adult Coed Softball Captain’s Meeting Wed., May 11, 2016 - 6:00 p.m. Rec Center. 
  • Play Monday’s in June & July.
  • Team Fee: $400 ($500 after May 11). 

SPECIAL EVENTS

FROSTY FROLIC

  • Local arts and craft fair
  • Saturday, December 10, 2016 - 10am to 3pm
  • Booths $25 —Contact Rec for booth registration

GOING FOR THE GREEN FUN RUN/WALK

  • Walk/run for all ages 
  • This fundraiser for Rec Center improvements will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017
  • 9:00 a.m. Checkin / 10:00 a.m. run/walk begins
  • Fees:  $30 prior to March 1 and $40 after March 1st
    • Includes festive green t-shirt and breakfast after the run

COACHES & OFFICIALS NEEDED

Coaches, Football, Basketball, and Volleyball Officials are paid positions.  If you have experience, an interest in helping develop the youth of our community or would like to be involved,  contact Bowman Parks and Recreation. 


YOUTH PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS

Youth Recreation Programs require volunteers to help with many different activities. The following volunteer postions are available:
    >> Team Moms
    >> After School Program Board of Directors
    >> Activity Leaders, snack providers, homework tutors, cleanup

REGISTRATION POLICY:

Registration forms are available at the Rec Center and online.
No Phone registrations will be accepted.
Fees are due at the time of registration. Cash and Check are accepted.
Participation will not be allowed until fees are paid.
