ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES:

YOUTH PROGRAMS 2015

Current Annual Family Pass Members shall receive a 50% discount on Youth Program Fees for all Rouzie Rec Center Programs including: Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cheer, Baseball, and Softball.

Tumbling

Boys and Girls Ages 6—10.  Other age levels may be available depending on enrollment.  Days and Time of session will be determined by age and skill level of participant.

June Session

Registration ends mid-May.  Fees:  $50 for 4 sessions

Girls Volleyball
Girls Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends March 6
*Fees:  $25
Practice starts first week of March and runs thru April

Baseball/Softball Programs:

T-Ball

Boys and Girls ages 5-6.   Parent informational meeting May 13, 5:30 pm.  Practice begins week of June 1. Practices Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays @ 8:00 a.m. June 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 19, 24, 26, 29. Games:  6/17 @ Scranton 6:00 p.m. and 7/1 Under the lights at James Field 7:30 p.m.     Emphasis on skill development.  Need glove.    Coaches:  Karly P., Kaitlyn H., Daniel B.   *Fee:  $30 per player (shall keep t-shirt)

Midget Baseball

Boys and Girls ages 7-9.  Parent informational meeting May 13, 5:00 pm.  Practice begins week of June 1.  Emphasis on skill development, coach or machine pitch.  Need glove.  Will travel on bus to games .  *Fee:  $30 per player (shall keep t-shirt)

Little League Baseball

Ages 10-12.  Parent informational meeting May 13, 5:00 pm.  Practice begins week of June 1.  Emphasis on skill development and position learning.  Need glove.  Will travel on bus to games.  *Fee:  $40 per player

Girls Softball

Ages 10-18.  Parent informational meeting May 13, 6:00 pm.  Practice begins week of May 26.  Emphasis on skill development & transitioning to fastpitch.  Need glove.  Will travel on bus to games.  *Fee:  $40 per player

Babe Ruth Baseball

Ages 13-15.  Parent informational meeting May 13, 6:30 pm.  Practice begins week of May 26.  Emphasis on skill building and competition.  Need glove.  Will travel on bus to games.  *Fee:  $40 per player

Legion Baseball

Ages 16-18.  Interest Meeting Tue, March 27, 5:30 pm.  Must register by May 1.  If not enough to make a team, opportunities to play in Hettinger.  *Fee:  TBD

Missoula Children’s Theatre

Registrations open through July 27.  For Grades K-12.  Tryouts and Rehearsals  July 27 – August 1.  Performances July 31 7:00 p.m. and August 1 3:00 p.m.  Fees:  $30 per person

FALL PROGRAMS:

Tackle Football

Boys Grades 4-6.  Registration Ends mid-August.  *Fees:  $65 plus $150 uniform deposit.  Practice starts mid-August and runs into mid-October.

Cheer
Boys and Girls Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends mid-August for Football or beginning of October for Boys Basketball
*Fees:  $25 per sport plus cost of uniform (estimate of $65).
Practice starts end of August for Football and October for Boys Basketball.  

Girls Basketball
Girls Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends mid-August
*Fees:  $25
Practice starts end of August and runs thru mid-October

Boys Basketball
Boys Grades 4—6.  Registration Ends mid-October
*Fees:  $25
Practice starts mid-October and runs thru mid-December

*Program qualified for a 50% discount on fees with a current Family Membership to the Rouzie Rec Center.

Refund Policy:  If a program is canceled, a full refund will be issued in the form of a check.  No refunds will be given once a program has started.


ADULT PROGRAMS 2015

Rosters and Fees Due at Captain’s Meeting.  Late Entries shall pay an additional $100 per team effective 2/1/2015.  

Womens Spring Volleyball - Thu. League

Women’s Spring Volleyball is played on Thursday Evenings.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions.  Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  March 11 - 5:30 p.m., Rouzie Rec Center.  Play begins March 19 and runs seven weeks, including tourney.  Fees:  $200 per team.

Coed Softball—Mon. League
Adult Coed Softball is played on Monday Evenings.  
Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  May 6 - 7:00 p.m.  Play begins June 1 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
Fees:  $400 per team

Coed Volleyball—Wed. League
Adult Coed Volleyball is played on Wednesday Evenings.  
Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  September 2 - 5:30 p.m.  Play begins September 9 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
Fees:  $275 per team

Women’s Volleyball—

Wed. League - Played on Wednesday Evenings.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions.  

Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  December 16 - 5:30 p.m., Play begins January 6 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
Fees:  $275 per team

Thu. League - Played on Thursday Evenings.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions.  

Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  December 16 - 5:30 p.m., Play begins January 7 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
Fees:  $275 per team

Spring League - Played on Thursday Evenings.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions.  

Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  March 11 - 5:30 p.m., Play begins March 19 and runs seven weeks, including tourney.
Fees:  $200 per team

Men’s Basketball - Wed. League
Men’s Volleyball is played on Wednesday Evenings.  Traditionally this is the competitive league.  Note Comp or Rec on roster and league size will determine divisions. Registration Ends/Captain's Meeting:  December 16 - 6:00 p.m.  Play begins January 6 and runs nine weeks, including tourney.
Fees:  $400 per team

COACHES & OFFICIALS NEEDED

Coaches, Football, Basketball, and Volleyball Officials are paid positions.  If you have experience, an interest in helping develop the youth of our community or would like to be involved,  contact Bowman Parks and Recreation. 


YOUTH PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS

Youth Recreation Programs require volunteers to help with many different activities. The following volunteer postions are available:
    >> Team Moms
    >> After School Program Board of Directors
    >> Activity Leaders, snack providers, homework tutors, cleanup

If you are interested in helping with any of the programs, please complete an application and contact Chanell or Heidi at 523-3896.


REGISTRATION POLICY:

Registration forms are available at the Rec Center and online.
No Phone registrations will be accepted.
Fees are due at the time of registration. Cash and Check are accepted.
Participation will not be allowed until fees are paid.
