     If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shielf of ND health insurance, you can get your fitness membership FREE!  See our friendly staff for details

Seniors 60+ FREE -  Did you know if you are a resident of Bowman or Slope County and your are 60 years of age or older you are eligible for a free membership to the Rouzie Rec Center?  All you have to do is fill out a membership form.  We offer a cardio room with recumbent bikes, eliptical machines, treadmills, inversion table, versa climber, and the very popular nustep machine.  We also have redecorated the cardio room and installed two large big screen TVs for you enjoyment while you exercise.  Many people prefer to walk in the gym for exercise.  And the weight room has many Nautilus weight machines.  These machines, once given an orientation, are very good for helping keep your muscle tone safely.  The Bowman/Slope Council on Aging has purchased memberships for all seniors through September 30, 2015.  


Cardio Room Update

Come and tour the Rouzie Recreation Center.  Four new pieces of equipment and a room renovation have been completed with two new televisions and new paint.   

Tot Time  - NEW PROGRAM!

Preschool and Guardians.  Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10:00—Noon. October 1—April 30.

     Tuesdays:  Guardians bring in trikes, scooters and other riding toys to the gym for play time.

     Thursdays:  Matts will be set up for children to play on (with guardian supervision).

Fees:  $5.00 per day per family or family membership.

Job Openings

Front Desk Staff:  Receptionist duties to greet customers and help with program registrations, light custodial, concession help.  Part-time, flexible hours.

Program Assistant:  Part-time position will be responsible for assisting the Director with adult and youth programs and events.  Assist with event and program marketing, scheduling, and event management. Part-time, flexible hours.

Camp Host:  To be a visible representative of the campground; to promote care of the campground by performing light maintenance work and being a model camper; to greet and assist visitors; to inform visitors of campground rules; to answer questions; to distribute facility information; and to monitor camping fees and permits.
