2016 BCDC Annual Meeting Held

April 04, 2017

The Annual Meeting hosted by the Bowman County Development Corporation received a makeover in 2017.  A change of venue, time, and agenda brought new interest and an information-filled evening to over 75 attendees on February 28, 2017.

Guest speaker Larry White, International Agribusiness Consultant and former Bowman resident, shared some of his experiences of exploring agriculture around the world.  Larry is also a business partner of Pulse Oils; a 2016 client of the BCDC.

The 2016 year was another busy year for the Bowman County Development Corporation.  Teran Doerr, Executive Director, shared highlights and updates on the projects in progress, services offered, and completed projects.  The office and its staff work as ambassadors of our county and strive to contribute to and showcase the quality of life and economic opportunity in Bowman County. To learn more check out the 2016 Annual Report.

The Board of Directors elections were held prior to the meeting and members were announced at the annual meeting.  Incumbents Scott Hardy and Kevin Bucholz were elected to fill the two directors’ positions that were up for election.

“Our culture is to seek opportunities and focus on making Bowman County a better place to live, work and play.  You may not always see us, but we are there, working to tell our story.”  Doerr states as she reminds the public and interested parties that our door is always open.  We welcome you to stop by or call!
