BCDC Visits Local Area Businesses

May 17, 2016

In an effort to increase communication, the Bowman County Development Corporation will be visiting local area Bowman County businesses. Goals of the program will be to document the information reported, provide additional services when identified and to increase overall communication. Visits are being scheduled two to three times per month. While it won't be possible to make it to all of the businesses within a year or two, the EDC is hoping to reach as many as possible. So far, information gained has related to a variety of topics, and is being reported back to the appropriate entities.

Increased communication was identified as one of the top priority goals for the BCDC for 2016. The BCDC is putting a large focus on the existing businesses already located in the community. Not only are they hoping to gain information on ways to better serve area businesses but also getting to know Bowman County businesses more in depth. According to Teran Doerr, Bowman County EDC Director, "we've not only been able to talk about the programs we have to offer but also hear what they are seeing and what needs we have in the community."

While there is no predetermined order, if you'd like your business to be next on the list, please don't hesitate to call the office at 701.523.5880 or email Teran at
