June 22 Minutes
Minutes of Organizational Meeting held on June 22, 2010, at City Hall. The meeting began at 4:00 PM.
Present: Snavely, Rea, Sondeland, James and McLaughlin, board; Pond, auditor; Headley, K King and K Cummings.
Motion by Rea with second by Snavely was made to accept the agenda. In a roll call vote, all voted aye. The motion carried.
President James administered the Oath of Office to re-elected commissioners Grace Rea and Gerald McLaughlin and to newly elected Municipal Judge Keith King.
Motion by Rea with second by Sondeland was made to continue with the current commissioner portfolios. In a roll call vote, all vote aye. The motion carried. The portfolio's are: Finance: Gerald McLaughlin; Street: Les Snavely; Water/Sewer: Mike Sondeland and Police: Grace Rea.
Motion by McLaughlin with second by Sondeland was made to appoint the following individuals to the listed positions for the next two years:
Auditor: Judy Pond
Police Chief: Charles Headley
Attorney: Steve Wild
Assessor: Dean Pearson
Health Officer: Dr Forest Lanchbury
Fire Chief: Chris Palczewski
Street Commissioner: Les Snavely
City Engineer: Brosz Engineering
Patrolman: Frank Eberle & Larry Fischer
In a roll call vote, all voted aye. The motion carried.
President James administered the Oath of Office to appointees Judy Pond, Auditor and Charles Headley, Police Chief.
Motion by Sondeland with second by McLaughlin was made to appoint Grace Rea as Vice President for the next two years. In a roll call vote, all voted aye. The motion carried.
Motion by Snavely with second by Rea was made to adjourn at 4:15 PM. The motion carried
